Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 20, 2025

Welcome to Speeda. This privacy policy explains our commitment to protecting your privacy. At Psylinks Security, our guiding principle is to put privacy first, and Speeda is a direct reflection of that commitment.

Our Core Principle: We Do Not Collect Your Data

Speeda is designed to be a simple, effective tool without compromising your privacy. We do not collect, store, log, or share any personal information or speed test results. Your privacy is not a feature; it is the foundation of this service.

How the Speed Test Works

When you run a speed test, your device communicates directly with third-party testing servers (provided by Cloudflare) and information services (provided by ipinfo.io) to measure your connection speed and determine your ISP and general location. This process happens entirely within your browser. The results are displayed to you and are not sent to or stored on our servers.

Information Displayed to You

  • Speed Test Results: Your download speed, upload speed, and ping are calculated and displayed on your device only. We do not have access to this information.
  • ISP and Location Information: To provide you with your ISP's name and country, your IP address is sent to a third-party service (ipinfo.io). This service returns the relevant information to be displayed on your screen. We do not log or store this information. For details on their data handling, please refer to the ipinfo.io Privacy Policy.

Adblocker Detection & Caching

The adblocker detection script runs locally in your browser. Its only purpose is to check if a test element on the page has been hidden. To provide a fast, lightweight experience, Speeda uses a Service Worker to store the main application interface in your browser's local cache. Neither of these features collect or transmit any data from your device.
